The Best 3 Months Reflection is for clients with or without a terminal diagnosis who would like assistance with planning what they would like their death to look like if given the choice. This process does require a significant amount of time and dedication from the client, but the results are a worksheet that gives insight into actions that need to be taken in order to reach their goals before death and ultimately plan a better death. For clients who do not have a terminal diagnosis, this process is an opportunity for you to explore your options for end-of-life care, reflect on life, plan what you would like their death to look like if given the choice, and make sure you have your affairs in order.
This process requires 6, one hour meetings (either in person or zoom, in person preferred). The first meeting is a an opportunity to meet me and understand this process. The other 5 meetings take place after the client has completed their reflection on each of the 5 realms of life (physical, practical, mental, emotional, and spiritual). The reflection process for the client usually takes between 2-5 hours in total.
Legacy Life Review (LLR) is another way to reflect on one's life and to complete important tasks prior to our death. During a LLR with you, we will begin by reflecting on your life and learn what needs to be done for a sense of feeling complete. This is also an opportunity for you to leave something behind for your family to cherish, which could look like a music playlist, obituary writing, photo album, letters, and much more.
After death body care is completed with or without a family present or their participation. It includes but is not limited to bathing, dressing, cleaning of teeth and mouth, proper body positioning, and preparation for an at home wake, funeral home etc.
